Chase is the first of our kids to absolutely be addicted to his blankie. He was about 3 months old when he fell in love with this blankie. It was a beautiful "Little Giraffe" blanket that Kenna's (and Ethan's the year before that) first grade teacher gave to him. Now it is thrashed. I can hardly find time to wash it. He carries it around the house with him. While he is playing he takes breaks and cuddles with it. The blanket goes everywhere he goes and seems to be even better if he sucks his first two fingers with it!

My daughter used to cry the entire time her blanket was washing and drying. It was horrible. The blanket doesn't leave with us unless we will be sleeping where we are going so whoever was staying home was on laundry duty. My youngest (9 months) loves her blankie too. We actually got her a second one so we can always have a clean one. It's crazy, but I am glad my kids can comfort themeselves.
