McKenna will be 8 years old on May 16th! This is the invitation my sister made for her friend birthday party (the family party is on the 16th). She wanted to have an artist party, so we bought a canvas for each guest, paint, pallets, and brushes. We are so excited to see how the paintings turn out. I tried similar paintings with Ethan and Seth a year ago, and they turned out great. I am going to try making a cake that looks like a painter's pallet, inspired by Ace of Cakes. Her excitement for this party is contagious!
Kev wants to take her out of school on Monday for a Disney trip, but she has perfect attendance for the entire year so far (I guess the school is not counting the days we were in Bass Lake because we used the independent study program). I never had perfect attendance. I am guessing she will give it up for a trip to the "big D."

Happy Birthday Kenna! I can't believe all these little kiddos are getting so grown up! It's fun to watch. I agree with Megan... cool Party idea. I may have to steal that on of these days!
