Happy Birthday, Little Artist!

McKenna's artist party was so fun! We had 16 x 20 canvases, brushes, paints, and two aunties (Jane and Brittany) for the girls be creative with. The girls were really concentrating and painting their designs carefully. Jane, Brittany, and I helped some of the girls sketch first with pencil, others did their own. The paintings took longer than I expected but the final products were worth it. McKenna had a great time, and we ate lots of pizza, watermelon, and ice cream cake!

Artists at work. Auntie Jane helping McKenna make a painting to match her new bedroom.

What a fun party! I'm totally stealing that idea when my boys get old enough to paint!
