Kevin's Africa Trip, Day 1

Kevin and I got up at 2:30 this morning (after 3 hours sleep) to drive down to the Hernandez house. Kev's mom and sis stayed with our kids. We met up with Ernie, Shelley, Katie, and Ernie's mom and dad to drive into LAX for Kev and Ernie's 6:00am flight to Toronto, Canada (the first fourth of their journey to Kenya). I think they arrived at about 1PM our time. They had an 8 hour layover, so they decided to take a quick trip to Niagara Falls! They got back to the airport with time to Skype us and Shelley+kids. Kevin said it was great and I can't wait to see and post the pictures. At 7:30PM our time the boarded another plane headed for Frankfort, Germany, this will put them 1/2 way there. One day down and 14 more to go!
